Oete (pronounced ‘oh-ette’) is a 23 year-old singer from Picardie, France, who moved to Paris in May of 2020. Born Thibaut Blond, Oete worked as an educator for underprivileged teens in the outskirts of Paris, when a Covid-related burnout saw him switch gears to making music. Three days after his first release he signed to French powerhouse label Auguri, responsible for Angèle and Stromae. His move to Paris and his musical savoir-faire have put him on a steep ascent in the French electro world.
