Ben THOUARD

Raised in the south of France and falling in love with surfing at an early age, Ben Thouard soon found a natural link between his love of the ocean and his eye as an artistic photographer. Renowned for his powerful and evocative underwater images, he has ridden his creative wave from France to Hawaii — and along the way finding time to capture shots on dry land in the Arctic and Central America. From his adopted home in Tahiti, where he has lived for more than a decade, Ben chats to us about life in the water, his creative journey so far and his Tahiti Travel Playbook.
