Documentary director Ali Alvarez’s global mindset has been honed over a life lived across Mexico City Los Angeles, Tokyo, and now London. After starting in advertising, Ali turned her attention to filmmaking — a realm where she could reconnect with her Mexican and American roots and delve into the human stories that inspire her. She has produced content for Nike, Range Rover, and the BBC, her work has been recognized by Cannes and nominated for an Emmy Award, and her first feature documentary, Muerte Es Vida, was awarded 'Best Human Wildlife Interaction' at the International Wildlife Film Festival.
