Alice’s work centers around family, hybrid identities, and how to create new narratives from the past. Their recent project at Dublin’s Douglas Hyde Gallery — ‘Family Lines’ — was an opportunity to platform other Irish artists of color and explore mixed race and Black Irish identity in a novel way. Alice’s Dublin is full of places to sit and calmly ponder, from the city’s first Ethiopian restaurant to the galleries and streets worth meandering through.
