Esra Gulmen

Leaving her home in Istanbul to pursue a career in design in Frankfurt, visual artist Esra Gülmen sought to leave the conservative atmosphere of Turkey behind and establish herself in a country where she could be herself and be inspired. After also trying Amsterdam, she finally settled in Berlin, a city with which she has a ‘love-love relationship’.
