From his earliest days in practice, Singapore product and furniture designer Gabriel Tan was able to appreciate the value of a global network. Forming a design collective with partners in Barcelona and Buenos Aires gave him experience across borders that informed the creation of three companies. Then, a move to Porto, Portugal, ensured he was in the best place to access clients, craftspeople, and manufacturers across Europe. Winning awards for creations that transcend disciplines the way his businesses transcend nations, Gabriel has also found time to act as creative director for Japanese furniture brand Ariake.
