George Byrne

Springing from the creative hub of Sydney’s Balmain in the 80s and 90s, artist and photographer George Byrne made the move to the US in his thirties. After a brief period in New York, he found his new home in Los Angeles, a city whose strange transience clicked perfectly with his love of escapist imagery. With his first photography book, Post Truth, available now, his artistic identity continues to grow and flourish.
