Juliana Engberg works with artists and organizations around the world, bringing them together over a love for the creative. Travel provides her with the opportunity to meet face-to-face with people and have genuine, personal connections with them. This approach has led her to work with countless global artists and galleries, including a 13-year stint as the Artistic Director at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in her home city of Melbourne. She has also been the Programme Director for the European Capital of Culture Aarhus 2017 and curated the Australian presentation at the Venice Biennale. Most recently, she spent some time working with the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, as their Senior Curator.
