Architect Koichi Takada was already a global citizen by the time he moved to New York for university – he had previously lived in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo as his father traveled Asia with his business. Tutored by the likes of Rem Koolhaas and Farshid Moussavi, Koichi’s work was also informed by his love of travel and new cities, seeing him live in London and Tokyo once more, before settling in Sydney, where he has set up his own firm with a focus on nature as an influence on function and aesthetics.
