From her hometown Fortaleza, Ceará, she followed her creativity to Europe and lived in Lisbon before moving to London, where she's now based. Lorena's debut novel 'Primeiro Eu Tive Que Morrer' was a phenomenon: it’s the story of a publicist on the verge of collapse who escapes the chaos to the heavenly refuge of the village of Jericoacoara. ‘Jeri,’ as it's known in Brazil, is one of Lorena’s favorite places in the world.
