From hosting one of the UK’s most listened-to sports podcasts to writing a plethora of pieces as a journalist, author and poet, Musa Okwonga found his creative home in Berlin in 2014. Born in the UK to Ugandan parents, he started writing at the age of 10, but found England’s social structures and beliefs incompatible with his desire to be an author. Now, in a new country, his profound belief that writing has the power to influence people for the better has given him an infectious positivity.
