Nadia Hernández

Nadia Hernández was born in Venezuela, before moving to the US and eventually settling in Australia. She found her calling as an artist when she painted her first mural — finding a career and a community at the same time. Now she travels extensively around the globe with her art, and her multidisciplinary work is informed by the current political climate in her home country and her experience as part of the Venezuelan diaspora. Nadia also runs a Latin American music show at Sydney’s inner-west-based community station Nomad Radio.
