Nico Porteous

New Zealand-born Olympic gold medalist Nico Porteous was raised between the slopes of Aotearoa’s South Island and Europe. The boundary-pushing freestyle skier has long been drawn to the creative fluidity of the sport, and his growth as a professional athlete has been honed thanks to extensive travel, chasing winter year-round. Yet it’s in his home in the alpine town of Wānaka, on New Zealand's South Island, that Nico feels most inspired.
