"Fort Casey is a park on Whidbey Island, Washington, with these abandoned bunkers. It's a bunch of abandoned spooky bunkers that I used to go camping there as a kid, and it was really fun to play hide and seek in the spooky abandoned bunkers. Recently they repainted it and made it all nice now, so it's a tourist attraction, but I missed when it was still like rusty metal, scary ass bunkers because it was just more fun."

"I'd take friends visiting Seattle to Chinatown for sure, and we'd go to Uwajimaya, which is like an Asian grocery store with also a food court. I'd probably get a roasted duck with them, like a Banh Mi sandwich, because that shit is so good."

Payday is a Los Angeles-based pop-rapper from Seattle. Much of her work, which draws from a diverse set of genres, is influenced by her hometown in Washington.
