Traveling is what Brazilian–born journalist Pedro Andrade always wanted to do. First he considered becoming a pilot, flight attendant, bus driver, and even an astronaut, but it was a career in the creative industries that became Pedro’s ticket to see the world. Modeling led him from Rio de Janeiro to New York, and then a career change into TV hosting saw Pedro travel through 65 nations. For years Pedro traveled across borders and cultures, before one story led him right back home to Brazil to film ‘Unknown Amazon’ — which won the preeminent Environmental Media Award in 2021. In this docuseries, Pedro uncovers problems and conflicts in the Amazon, showcasing unique communities of the region from more than 350 indigenous ethnicities.
