Professional Skateboarder

1 Playbook|9 Gems

Poppy Starr Olsen first picked up a skateboard when she was eight. By the age of 21, Poppy had risen to Australia's number one female skateboarder spot, competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and emerged as a fierce role model in the once male-dominated sport. Raised in Bondi Beach, Poppy has inspired a new generation of female skaters globally. From child skateboarding prodigy to a world-renowned athlete, Poppy’s journey has been captured on film in the documentary Tall Poppy: A Skater's Story. Now, to push her skills and connect with other female skaters, Poppy spends stretches of time skating the parks of Encinitas, on the coast of San Diego's North County.
