Shaneel Lal

Though Shaneel only arrived in Auckland from Fiji at the age of 14, they quickly developed a passion for the island nation, becoming inspired to spearhead a campaign to ban conversion therapy in Aotearoa. On top of their fierce activism efforts, Shaneel also contributes as a columnist to the New Zealand Herald and models on the side, establishing them as a multifaceted force to be reckoned with.
