"If you are in town I definitely recommend having a look at the Torre de Hércules. It's the oldest functional lighthouse in the world and the parkland around it is under UNESCO protection. It was built during the Roman Empire and it's very beautiful."

"You can appreciate all the modernist architecture and Spanish Liberty-style buildings here. It's down by the harbor and the buildings have these beautiful wide windows."

"This castle was on what was originally an island but is now a peninsula. The building used to be a prison and it's where the city's old dungeons are. Right now, it houses the archaeological museum."

"For something more contemporary, I would recommend visiting the aquarium. It's amazing and has lots of different species of fish."

"I'd recommend all the kinds of squid and pulpo they offer here. They've also got shrimp and tuna from the Atlantic, which is delicious. The oysters are also really good."
