"The place that best exemplifies that feeling is probably Mount Coot-tha up at the planetarium and the Botanical Gardens. It's got lots of options. Like there's obviously the beautiful dome with all the tropical plants in it. But there's also the planetarium as well, which is really cool. There's also a beautiful Japanese garden. And there's a really nice, peaceful lagoon that you can sit by which I feel like often gets overlooked."

"Another place I love going to which I've recently rediscovered is Junk Bar in Ashgrove. It's a really cool kind of dive bar. It's like a hole in the wall. They have really great cocktails, they have food as well. I believe it's really eclectic and kitschy but not too in your face. It's quite warm and intimate as well."

"I love Scout Cafe in Petrie Terrace. They have really good bagels, a really underrated kind of hidden secret in Brisbane. I feel it feels like a cafe in a different city, just really great coffee and a really great energy and ambience there."

"My favorite vintage clothing store is Neo Generalist, it's in West End. It's got really good curated high quality vintage clothes. It's a lot of European clothes, and particularly Russian clothes, which is really cool. And I feel like you wouldn't have an experience like that anywhere else in Brisbane."

"I really love in Brisbane is VENTspace. It's a creative space. That platform visual artists and musicians. You can put on events there, you can shoot videos and photos there. They use it as a venue as well. And they have artists and residents who work in the space and exhibit their work. And it's super collaborative."
