Hip hop producer Kay Faith set an ambitious goal: to embark on her inaugural journey beyond her homeland of South Africa, fueled by her passion for music.

"I recommend the Cape Town CBD to experience music. The Waiting Room is one of my favorite hip-hop spots in the city. It's very inclusive, and on Prime event nights, they have themes like music by Drake, classic R&B and hip-hop, trap or drill music. They switch it up often."

"My favorite coffee spot in the city is Origin Coffee in De Waterkant. It's a great place for meetings with clients or connecting with artists visiting the city. Not as many young people drink alcohol anymore, so it's nice meeting people for coffee."

"One of my favorite places to experience art is Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch University is the heart and soul of the town, and student art is my favorite because it's very raw and real. If you walk down Dorp Street, there are a few galleries to pop into and find out what else is on show."

"I love swimming, and my favorite outdoor place to spend time is Noordhoek beach. It's beautiful and big, so you can find a spot that's not too busy. Continue driving along the coast to Kommetjie. If you're not a beach person, you can also hike the mountains there."
