"There are lots of breweries in Marrickville, so people go there to do brewery runs. I like the Bob Hawke Brewery. There’s some good Chinese food there, too. A lot of breweries in Marrickville have food as well."

"I love to go to the beach. There's Wylie's Baths or the Ladies Baths in Coogee; I really enjoy going there. They're not as packed as the main beaches, which I like."

"I grew up eating yum cha, as my father’s from Hong Kong. But now that I’m vegetarian, it’s quite difficult to eat things like yum chas, so the vegan one at Green Gourmet is definitely a go-to."

"Some good friends of mine opened a restaurant called Baba's Place in a warehouse in Marrickville, and it's a beautiful space with amazing food."
