Palazzo Ducale di Urbino
Historical landmark
Piazza Rinascimento, 13, 61029 Urbino PU, Italy"This palace is where Duke Federico of Montefeltro lived his whole life. He finished it in the 15th century. Every time I go there, I admire the majestic palace. The ambition that Federico had to make the city of Urbino one of the most beautiful towns of the Renaissance is a really big inspiration."

Uliassi
Fine dining restaurant
Banchina di Levante, 6, 60019 Senigallia AN, Italy"You can have spiedini di pesce, seafood skewers, with calamari e gamberi, everywhere in Italy. But when I had them at Uliassi, it completely blew my mind. It was the same dish, the same food, but with a depth of flavor that I had never experienced before. That's the genius of the chef."

Cultural landmark
Via Peschiera, 30/a, 60020 Sirolo AN, Italy"Wake up early for sunrise and rent a kayak at Portonovo Beach, and then paddle south towards La Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle. Bring a little lunch and have it at the beach, and then kayak back in the afternoon. The trip takes a couple of hours each way — quite challenging but totally doable."

Monte Catria
Mountain peak
61040 Frontone, Province of Pesaro and Urbino, Italy"Monte Catria is the highest peak in the province of Pesaro e Urbino in northern Marche at 1,701 meters. It's a very cool mountain with a wide variety of trees and wildlife. Spot roe deer, wolves, boar and foxes all living in the mountains while hiking some of the incredible trails."
