Le Marche with Francesca Tilio

It is the youngest nature reserve in the Marche region, established in 2009. The area extends for about 1500 hectares between the municipalities of San Severino, Matelica, Apiro and Gagliole, in the province of Macerata.

The Blue Grotto area in Ancona is characterized by the classic fishermen's caves, which you can also find on the nearby Passetto beach. It is located at the foot of the Cardeto Park and is accessible by sea or on foot, taking the path that starts from via Panoramica.

Palazzo Pianetti , home of the Civic Art Gallery since 1981, is a significant example of eighteenth-century architecture. Begun in the mid-18th century on commission from the noble Pianetti family of Jesi, it acquired its current appearance in the middle of the following century, when it was renovated on the occasion of Vincenzo Pianetti's marriage to a descendant of the Azzolinos.

Built between 1823 and 1829 at the behest and financing of one hundred wealthy citizens of Macerata (who take the name of "circus members"), as the writing on the facade recalls, the building was erected to a design by Ireneo Aleandri and direction of the works by Salvatore Innocents.
