In search of new beginnings, lingerie designer Cicely Travers went to Rome on a whim and ended up staying for three and a half years.

"It's like an old tram carriage and it's got these swing chairs. So you could get pizza slices and go and sit in the bar, eat your pizza and have a little spritz."

"It's everything. Furniture, clothes. New stuff, old stuff, sunglasses, lights, weaponry. It's like everything you can think of. And it's sprawling, it's massive and it's great."

"It's just very sweet, very cheap, like, little spritzes cost a few euros. You can get a glass of Prosecco for like two or three euros or something. It’s been in loads of movies because it's such a kind of classic bar. And then if you go in the day, and it's just a slice of every sort of person in Rome."

"It just does fried baccala (salt cod) and a salad and it's so cute and you can sit outside and like you know just drink a lovely white wine and have fried fish and a salad."
