"Whenever I'd fly out to Brisbane or Perth touring in that first year, I'd go to his store called Retro Groove and get clout glasses like the ones that Kurt Cobain used to wear. I'd get different colors, white, pink, and yellow glasses, and rock them at every show. It's sentimental to me, so we’d start there and buy some glasses."

"There are more people officially working in Wollongong's music scene now. I've got friends who worked at Yours & Owls Festival and cool venues like La La La's. It's nice to go back and run into those people every once in a while."
