For indie musician Claud, every trip home to Chicago is a chance to revisit the teenage haunts that shaped their identity and passion for music. The singer-songwriter went from experiencing Chicago’s best jazz bars and running a Jonas Brothers fan account to racking up tens of millions of streams on their own enchanting tunes. “I just wanted to do what they were doing. And I never really stopped,” says Claud. Gearing up to the release of Supermodels, Claud shares that the sophomore album is largely about “trying to adjust to change and dealing with feelings of regret, and also trying to have a sense of humor through it.” In their Chicago Travel Playbook, they share their favorite spots to return to when they’re in their hometown.
