"The city has a rotating public art program, where every two years an artist comes in and installs a piece at the Torpedo Factory. So there's always something to look forward to, and it creates a beautiful cultural atmosphere."

"When I feel like getting out, I drive up to Wilson Bridge. There’s a lovely park, and the bridge is about three miles long, so I could bike or walk. It’s very beautiful and pedestrian-friendly. As I'm walking along the bridge, there are post signs that tell me about the history of the place, so it is beautifully designed."

"Union Market is a mix of many different cultures, where you can go grocery shopping for things you can’t find in regular supermarkets. Now it's sort of mixed-use — they're building condos, but they still have nice restaurants that still retain that multicultural vibe. This is really one of the beauties of DC."
